Product Development Specialist
Fulltime - Based in the the Midwest (USA)
The objective of this position is to ensure all Product Development activities in the primary areas of Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Illinois as well secondary areas of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri are fully covered through internal and external trials. The candidate will have the responsibility of Product Development trials and sales support. For this position, Hazera is seeking a professional, result-oriented, and highly committed individual. You will be a member of the commercial division and will work closely with the East Coast Sales Manager and the PD Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, carry out, and finalize Product Development activities.
- Responsible for all crops and products suitable for your territory.
- Responsible for Product Development trials from beginning to end, thus sowing until the end of the cycle.
- Coordinate Product Development activities with all internal stakeholders (internationally).
- Solve potential technical product problems.
- Support and participate in demonstration trials, field days, and open-day events.
Requirements:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience with an agronomical background in the vegetable seed business.
- Proven knowledge of field trials, including trial setup and field evaluations.
- Expertise in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel on-, and off-season to support the team in other respective territories.
- Willingness to work under variable environmental conditions associated with field trial work.
- Flexible working hours throughout the growing seasons.
- English - Minimum professional level (spoken and written).
- Driver’s license.
