Towards this end we have launched Simpli Namdhari (www.simplinamdharis.com), a 100% vegetarian Omni Channel retail chain in Bangalore with a comprehensive range of fresh fruits & vegetables, organic & pesticides free range of staples, single-origin dairy products (https://dairytales.com/), imported dry fruits, healthy snack range and more. Starting the journey back in the year 2000 with the mission to bring safe food, every product is either grown at the company’s own farms or from trusted sources across India & abroad. Job Synopsis

Designation/ Title: Manager – Quality Control / Assurance

Job Type: Full Time

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, Implement and Manage Quality Assurance Systems.
• Ensure all products meet company, regulatory and customer requirements 
• Manage Field Quality inspection, Germination and vigor testing, Genetic Purity Testing, Physical purity testing and Moisture testing
• Develop & maintain quality assurance SOP’s and other documents in accordance with accreditation guidelines.
• Prepare and analyse trends & performances and periodically report on activities and metrics to senior management
• Record and document internal and external non-conformances and lead root cause analysis.
• Initiate corrective & preventive action procedures to prevent re-occurrence of non-compliances

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Master’s degree graduate preferably in Seed Science and Technology.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial organisation.
• Knowledge of ISTA Rules in Seed testing and quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office and strong knowledge of basic statistics
• Sound time management skills to ensure multiple tasks simultaneously are completed within compressed timeframes.
• Sound active listening skills, Critical thinking skills & Team-oriented working skills.
• Creative and visionary with the ability to drive a high volume of work to completion.
