What to Expect?

In this 12-week developmental internship, you will experience what it is like to work within a sales territory and have the opportunity to directly impact customer growth. You’ll hone important skills, such as what it’s like to work in sales, agronomy, marketing, and project management. You will get to work directly with customers to build impactful relationships. You will develop your project management skills and have a unique opportunity to work within your assigned territory and partner with the sales team on a variety of projects such as research studies, territory analysis, prospecting, local marketing plans, and much more! Throughout your internship, you’ll receive regular feedback, guidance and coaching from our mentors to help you develop the skills you need to succeed.

What YOU will do:

  • You will expand your sales knowledge and learn how to manage a sales territory by reviewing territory analysis, prospecting, and building marketing plans. This will develop your sales skills!
  • You will gain hands-on experience in field sales, agronomy, marketing, production, and research. This will deepen your knowledge of how the entire organization operates!
  • You will get to lead other interns through business meetings and by delivering learning opportunities. This will develop your leadership skills!
  • You will develop relationships throughout the organization with multiple resource partners, cohorts, and leaders. Building relationships is the core of what we do!
  • Engage in a variety of impactful projects related to sales. This will test your project management skills!
  • Develop new and creative solutions to meet company and territory goals. Innovation is what will make you stand out!

Qualifications AND Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or related field from an accredited school with a graduation date between December 2021 and May 2022
  • Prior sales internships or work experience highly desired
  • Must be willing to relocate
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors 60% of the time
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Have a valid driver’s license and meet Motor Vehicle requirements
