For our subsidiary in the USA we are looking for a Sales Manager East Coast USA (M/F), based in South East USA.
Your challenge is to further strengthen our position on the East Coast USA and South East of Canada markets, by making optimal use of the available resources in the company. Your personal input will make the difference. You will manage and coach the East Coast Sales/Development team in the USA, 3 people in total. You will be located in South East USA (Georgia/Florida region) and report to the General Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing and develop the sales, margin and profitability for the Hazera brand in the assigned territory;
- Direct sales responsibility for the North East & Canada;
- Works with the dealer network to trial, promote and sell Hazera varieties;
- Develop a Hazera network of key growers/shippers in the territory;
- Represent Hazera in tradeshows, open days etc. in your territory.
- To lead and motivate the team in sales/product development and administration;
- Responsible for building forecast /sales /cost budgets for the territory;
- Provide support for breeder trials and visits of Product Managers and Breeders in your territory.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field and minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales position, preferably in the vegetable seed industry;
- Strong management skills and ability to work well with all levels of an organization
- Open communicator with good interpersonal skills, able to interact between different disciplines in Hazera USA team, customers and dealer network;
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Professional reporting and computer skills;
- You have a strong action-driven personality, and you are able to motivate yourself;
- Driver’s License;
- Willing to travel frequently (national and international);
