Bayer CropScience’s vegetable seed business operates under the name of Nunhems. Nunhems is a global specialist in vegetable seeds and sharing products, concepts and expertise with the professional horticultural production industry and supply chain. Its portfolio includes leading varieties and brands in crops such as leek, onion, carrot, melon, cucumber, tomato, watermelon, lettuce, pepper and chicory witloof. With annual sales of EUR 208 million in 2007, Nunhems is among the world’s leading vegetable seed companies with an extensive range of 28 species and some 2,500 varieties. With more than 1,300 people Nunhems is present in all major vegetable production areas in the world.

• Planning, reviewing, adapting and executing the annual sales plan within Mexico.  Introducing company products in order to inform and acquire potential new customers. Establishing and maintaining positive customer relations.
• Formulating and negotiating annual contracts with customers.
• Providing market, sales forecast and price and product information contributing to the formulation of the marketing and sales plans.
• Under the direction of the Product Specialist, plant and evaluate local trials. 

• Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or Agriculture or related field with three years experience in sales and product distribution preferred.

• Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Must be computer proficient, organized, analytical, creative, results orientated, assertive and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to communicate with different reporting levels in an international corporation.
• The selected candidate must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally. Approximate travel is 50%.
