Several businesses from the floral industry, including Beekenkamp Group, joined forces together with rapper Ali B to create a magnificent, heartwarming action against loneliness. This Good Friday, 10 April, no less than 150.000 colourful bouquets are being distributed to all nursing homes in Holland and to single elderly through home care organizations to bring them a message of hope and warmth.
By doing this, the floricultural sector, who is hit hard by this crisis, wants to make a difference and inspire others to do the same. Rapper Ali B and Minister Hugo de Jonge support this heartwarming message and started the campaign.
Flowers and plants are always there for us. To cheer us up, make us happy and to give hope in days of despair. So please join the floricultural sector and contribute. Buy a bouquet or plant and surprise someone who is forced to stay in with no visitors allowed. Together against loneliness, especially now!

Hartverwarmende actie van sierteelt tegen eenzaamheid bij ouderen
Een groot aantal partijen uit de Nederlandse sierteeltsector, waaronder ook Beekenkamp Group, heeft zich verenigd en organiseert een landelijke actie tegen eenzaamheid bij ouderen, in samenwerking met rapper Ali B. Op Goede Vrijdag 10 april aanstaande worden er maar liefst 150.000 kleurrijke boeketten uitgedeeld bij alle verzorgingshuizen in Nederland en ook zelfs via thuiszorgorganisaties aan alleenstaanden thuis.
De sierteeltsector wil namelijk, ondanks de forse klappen die het te verduren krijgt, juist nu een verschil maken en anderen inspireren niet bij de pakken neer te zitten, maar in actie te komen. Zoals Ali B. rapt: “Al staat je business stil, maak daar waar het kan het verschil.” Ali B. en Minister Hugo de Jonge hebben afgelopen zaterdag met een bloemenboodschap de actie landelijk al goed onder de aandacht gebracht.
Bloemen en planten zijn er altijd voor ons. Om ons op te vrolijken én om ons hoop te geven. Daarom ook de dringende oproep om bij te dragen aan deze mooie actie. Koop een mooi boeket of plant en verras iemand die nu even geen bezoek kan ontvangen. Samen tegen eenzaamheid, juist nu!
