Alliance Seed Corporation is pleased to announce Jim Bagshaw as our new General Manager.  In this role, Jim will be responsible for leading the day to day operations of Alliance Seed, including pipeline and strategic development, seed sales, and grower relations.  Jim will report directly to Alliance Seed’s Board of Directors.

Jim brings to Alliance Seed an innovative and entrepreneurial focus with over 25 years’ experience in the Canadian agricultural industry.  Joining us from Canterra Seeds, Jim was the Director of Sales where he managed all operational and administrative aspects of the sales team across western Canada.  Prior to that, Jim was the Cereals Product Lead for North America at Syngenta Canada Ltd. where Jim was responsible for commercialization of cereal varieties in Canada including development of genetics direction, product advancement, variety licensing and strategic planning for targeted segments. Jim has both a Diploma in Agriculture and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.  Jim will be based out of Saskatoon, and will oversee operations for Alliance Seed across western Canada.  Please join us in welcoming Jim to the Alliance Seed team!
