We specialize in breeding, production, development and distribution of vegetable seeds to meet the market demand. We have research centre located in Bangalore. NONGWOO SEED INDIA will continue to focus on research and innovation to become a leader in vegetable seed business in India in the near future.

We are looking for dynamic and result oriented ZONAL MANAGER for our Sales and Marketing for Maharashtra & Southern Region.

Job purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for sale of Vegetable Seeds in the potential vegetable growing areas. He/She will be responsible for establishing strong brand position in vegetable growing areas and expand the sale in the potential areas of all vegetable crops.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Implementation of Sale Plan of the company in his area of operation.
  • Responsible for Trials and Market Development activities
  • Manage dealer and distributor network
  • Achieve sales and collection targets.
  • Maintaining high sales with profitability
  • Maintain customer relationship with dealers and farmers
  • Communicating basic market information and changes occurring in the market from time to time to the management
  • Collect and maintain sale data of each crop in his area of operation.
  • To observe and inform timely competitors activities occurring in the market to the management

Qualifications

  • M.Sc Agriculture / MBA in Agriculture from reputed institute.
  • More than 12 years’ relevant experience in vegetable seed industry is preferred. Skills required:
  • Proven track record of excellent relationships with dealers and distributors.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skill.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all functional departments.
  • Self-motivated, with a high level of time management and organizational skill
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Must be willing travel extensively.
  • Must be fluent in local language along with English & Hindi Salaries are highly competitive and will commensurate with qualification, experience and demonstrated competencies.
