Summary

Azotic Technologies Ltd is looking to engage an inspiring, postdoctoral scientist to be part of a growing team at our laboratory in Nottingham UK. The scientist will help drive our research programme with seed formulation and film coating being key areas of development. The Company Azotic is exploring and developing the value of its innovative new technology based on a species of nitrogen-fixing bacteria that functions in all crop plants to substitute for significant levels of nitrogen fertiliser: the technology is set to revolutionise global agricultural production.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD in life sciences (biological, food or pharmaceutical) and extensive relevant postdoctoral research experience in seed coating formulation development and seed film coating.

Responsibilities

With a proven research management capability and a track record of success, preferably in a commercial environment, the successful candidate will be involved in the technical programme of the laboratory, and helping to achieve agreed milestones as well as working with other scientists to ensure efficient and effective operations and resource use.
