About Us

At Syngenta, we are working to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. We are currently seeking a Northern Territory Head for the Vegetable Sales team.

You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by:

As the Manager for the Western Territory of Vegetable Seeds, you will contribute to the Global and Regional Vegetable strategy. You will act as a Key Driver of specific crop strategies to deliver sustainable long-term territory business objectives. You will design and drive the evolution of the Go to Market strategies in the territory to deliver an efficient and effective business. You will actively manage the human capital in the territory to ensure high performing teams and to build effective teams for the future. As the Territory Manager, you will nurture key contacts in the Vegetable industry and build relationships with major influencers on the Syngenta business. You will monitor business performance and adjust strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and overall business contribution targets.

Accountabilities
  • Provide high scientific, technical, specialized product expertise
  • Deliver significant tasks and projects of a regional and global scope
  • Develop new and improvement of existing process, products and systems
  • Manage budget and resources allocated to territory
  • Negotiate with partners regarding regulatory authorities, unions, suppliers, and internal senior management
  • Manage small project team with cross-functional team members; projects typically have regional impact
Qualifications
 
Requirements
  • BS/BA Degree (MS preferred) in Agriculture, Business, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Horticulture, Agronomy, or Agribusiness
  • Vegetable Seeds background
  • Strong business & finance acumen
  • Experience in leading multi-functional teams
  • Strong Marketing background
  • Focus on creating value for our customers
  • Understanding of market dynamics and competitive environment
