Job Description

Job Overview & Responsibilities:

This role is primarily responsible for the total execution of the Microsoft Dynamics order to bill process from receipt to invoice customer orders generation, including order entry and confirmation to ensure accurate and timely pricing, terms and invoicing. A person in this role will provide superior Customer Service every day by building strong business relationships with internal and external customers including Sales, Operations, Product Supply, Research and Development, Logistics, and Finance. 

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding freight logistics and coordinating with Courier (UPS or equivalent), LTL, and Air Freight shipments with customers
• Researching and interpreting country import requirements ensuring seed meets the requirements or recommending additional testing to complete requirements 
• Ensuring customers are ordering appropriate quantities, shipping efficiently and maximizing shipping capabilities and researching any inventory issues for customer shipments
• Acting as a support and resource for Sales, Marketing, Credit, Finance, Master Data, Quality and the Customer
• Notarizing documents and ensures that all exportation documentation adheres to all local regulations
• Ensuring ongoing adherence to all policies, procedures, and processes so that the results will satisfy any audit review
• Understanding and creating re-export Phytosanitary documents with the USDA

Skills/Qualifications:

• Time management, communication, research, organization, attention to detail, problem solving, innovating thinking and Microsoft Office proficiency needed
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; correlation, root cause and effect
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Notary or ability to become Notarized
• Experience with international shipping, trade or compliance; ideally in an agricultural or seed shipment setting
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities without supervision, meet established deadlines and excel in a team environment
• Must be able to deal with difficult situations tactfully and resolve conflicts effectively. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent experience with ERP systems
• Able to work independently, acting with sense of urgency and as an owner
